Crew Chief
Job Summary
Wasaya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Chief to join our team. As a Crew Chief, you will play a vital role in managing and leading a team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional service. The Crew Chief is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are accomplished in accordance with the policies, procedures, and instructions contained with the MCM, MPM, MOP and Transport Canada requirements.

Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a valid AME license with AT LEAST ONE of the following ACA’s: Beech 1900D and/or Dash 8 100/300 (required)
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
- High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Excellent computer skills, MS-Office preferable, proficient in use of internet and email
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- The ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of First Nations Organizations is an asset.
Working Conditions
- Overtime as required.
- Safety equipment will be required.
- Hazards associated with trade.
- May be exposed to loud noise, dust, fumes, and oils.
- Indoor and outdoor work is required.
- May be required to work in confined spaces.
- Travel is required.
- Nightshift/weekend work required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift or move up to 75lbs.
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
