About Wasaya Airways

Wasaya Airways LP, a 100% First Nation owned company, is the leading quality provider of airline services in Northern Ontario. The airline has 25 destinations and five bases in Thunder Bay (Main Headquarters), Sioux Lookout, Pickle Lake, Red Lake and Timmins, Ontario. Wasaya Airways provides air transportation for passenger, charter, and freighting requirements. They also supply and deliver Bulk Fuel for many of the Hydro generating plants in remote northern communities.

The company’s purpose is to generate profit by providing their First Nations owners, which now include 10 First Nation Communities, and other isolated communities with safe, reliable, and cost-effective air transportation services and to be leaders in the development of meaningful programs for the education and the employment of First Nation people in commercial aviation. Wasaya Airways strives for success and growth by balancing the needs of its customers, shareholders, and employees, while supporting communities and protecting great lands.
